But somehow you that's not you. Your head is all over the place, you feel you don't recognise your body, the face in the mirror is that of a stranger, and you can only dream of being that sorted.
Right now, life is busier than ever. You’re holding it together at work, keeping up with teenagers or young adults, supporting aging parents, and running a household. And as if that isn't enough, your body feels unpredictable and your mind somehow isn’t as sharp as it used to be. Do you recognise the pattern?
I hear you. I've been there. For a while I tried to fight through it, carry on as 'normal' without being sure what normal was supposed to be. Or if I was 'normal'.
Perimenopause is a much bigger shift than we are led to believe. We're told by the medical establishment it lasts 3-5 years, and then we be our old selves again.
That is simply a load of bunkum.
In my experience, perimenopause lasts much longer. It has no precise beginning and end point that can be identified in real time. It builds up as a collection of things 'going wrong' in the sense of not being as they were even a few weeks back. It can manifest in any number of ways: hot flashes, disrupted sleep, joint pain, gnawing anxiety, loss of confidence, irritability, lack of patience with things that were previously not problem, UTIs, urinary 'leaks', digestive problems, inability to eat foods that you previously enjoyed, outrageously heavy or very scant periods, and the list goes on.
All of these manifestations, and others are linked to this process of change. However that is not to say that they have to become your new normal. With the right support, that transformation through this transitional period is absolutely possible.
I have created Rooted Resilient and Radiant so you can take charge of your perimenopause and, through embracing rather than resisting change, learning to trust yourself body and mind, and making informed choices that are right for you, thrive rather than just survive this natural and inevitable transition.

I’m 56, perimenopausal (still!) and living life on a pretty even keel, balancing work, family and fun. I run my own business, I am wife to Alexander, and mother to two active teenagers, and supporter of my elderly Mum. And I have two crazy pomeranian dogs. Somehow I fit in volunteering as an England Athletics technical judge, and helping out at Busy Buttons, a small but mighty local charity that supports young people who are unable to cope in mainstream education. Does all that sound exhausting? You bet it is! Am I enjoying myself? Absolutely!
It wasn’t always like this. Wind back 10 years, and I was feeling fat, frazzled, knackered, and not happy in my own body. Astonishingly, I had no idea that the changes I was experiencing were almost certainly due to perimenopause. I was diagnosed with IBS, then with gallbladder stones. I was offered anti-depressants, which I declined. I had two options: take ever-increasing prescription drugs - some to deal with with side effects of other drugs - or to take responsibility for my own health.
So I started researching what I could do to manage my own symptoms. A lot of what I did was trial and error. I realised that just because something is going viral on social media, there is no guarantee that it is accurate, effective, or even safe.
The more I read, the more confused I became. That is why I chose to undertake formal studies into nutrition and lifestyle, and I chose the programme that taught me to think as a scientist, not regurgitate someone else’s pet theory.
Back to present day, and I am healthier, fitter, and happier than I had been for years. I can still wear clothes I have had for 20 years (my daughter hankers after some of my vintage pieces!), I run 5k plus several times a week, I practice Qi Gong, and I enjoy open water swimming.

Unfortunately there are some people for whom this programme is not suitable. If you are undergoing active treatment for cancer, are undergoing any kind of immunotherapy, or have diagnosed kidney disease, then this programme is not for you. If you reside outside of the UK or EU, then for regulatory reasons, the group programme is not available without the VIP upgrade.
No quick fixes, no gimmicks. You’ll learn tools that work with your body - nutrition, mindset, and lifestyle shifts that last. This is about establishing new habits for the long term.
To take HRT or not is a very personal decision. I am not trained to prescribe or advise against licensed medications. However, I can say that optimising your nutrition and mindset, and embracing change will be of enormous benefit whether or not you take HRT.
No problem, this programme is designed for busy women like you. I support you through making the changes that you need to make. The recorded education sessions are 10-20 minutes, designed for you to watch at any time. You will get the most out of the Q&A coaching sessions if you attend live, however the replay will be available in case you are unable to make it.
Think of it this way: the cost of not taking action is higher: more exhaustion, more fog, more frustration. This is an investment in you.

No. In this programme I focus on nutrition and lifestyle, and give you the tools you need to make lasting changes for sustainable results. It is a group programme, and not designed to give the degree of personalisation and individual follow-up required for a programme of nutritional supplements, unless you opt for the VIP upgrade.
For an enhanced level of 1:1 support, and the opportunity to consider a personalised approach to supplements if appropriate, then consider upgrading to VIP. I never use a set supplement regime as one size does not fit all.
